OUR MISSION
Fifth Element Free Church seeks to unite spiritual beings from all walks of life, much the way aether does. We glean wisdom from ancient teachings regarding the original four elements: FIRE - the spirit, passion, and zest for life that is the birthright of every soul incarnated on Earth; EARTH - access to the abundance that is all around us, in forms both tangible and intangible; AIR - the knowledge, information, and education necessary to support an enlightened society; and WATER - emotional and intuitive prowess. AETHER, the fifth element, connects us all, and allows each of the other four elements to thrive in peace and harmony with their surroundings. Aether envelops; it protects and provides structure and pathways for the advancement of light. Fifth Element Free Church's mission is to do the same.
A Spiritual Community
For Free Thinkers
Fifth Element Free Church is a congregation of people who believe in God, a Creator, Source... whatever you call it, we all agree that it exists. And that's what unifies us. Unlike your traditional patriarchal church, Fifth Element does not tell you what God is; we invite you to tell us. We believe that there are as many iterations of God as there are people walking this planet. Every soul's spiritual journey is sacred, unique and valid.
Ancient and modern history has shown that there are evil forces that have permeated our world. From government actions to food to education to healthcare - even our spiritual "gurus" have been exposed for their connection to the corrupt and decaying system. For years we fought that system. We wasted time, money and precious energy trying to tear it down, to no avail. Over time we came to a different understanding: lasting change is not created by fighting what is broken, but by faithfully building what is right. Fifth Element exists to support individuals in cultivating lives, ministries, and communities rooted in integrity, personal responsibility, and connection to the Divine, however that is understood by each individual.

At Fifth Element Free Church, many of us arrived here because we could no longer ignore the feeling that something about the world we were told to trust doesn’t fully add up. You may have spent time questioning, pulling things apart, or trying to make sense of systems, beliefs, and structures that once felt certain. Or maybe it’s quieter than that—a steady inner knowing that there is more to life, more to truth, and more to your relationship with the Divine than what you’ve been shown. This is not a place that asks you to adopt a specific belief or follow a prescribed path. It is a place to think, to question, to reconnect, and to build a more honest and aligned relationship with God—however you understand that. We come together not because we all agree, but because we are willing to look deeper, live more intentionally, and support one another in that process. If you’ve been feeling this pull, you’re not alone. And you are welcome here.
Community Outreach
Fifth Element Free Church carries out its mission through a decentralized network of ministries serving local communities across the United States. Each ministry reflects a shared commitment to supporting individuals and families in living thoughtful, values-based lives grounded in their personal connection to the Divine.
Our ministries engage in community outreach through activities such as promoting self-sufficiency, encouraging connection with the natural world, supporting responsible stewardship of land and resources, and offering spaces for personal reflection, spiritual exploration, and community support. They also provide care and presence during meaningful life transitions, serving individuals and families with respect and compassion.
We believe that access to spiritual wisdom and growth should not be limited or gatekept. To that end, we openly share our sermons and teachings, making them available to all who feel called to engage.
Through these collective efforts, Fifth Element Free Church is dedicated to nurturing a vibrant container where individuals feel valued, supported and empowered to radiate positivity in their own lives and local communities.

Meet The Ministers
Freedom Was Calling. We Answered.
Fifth Element Free Church was officially founded in 2023 by Jessica D'Angio and Jordan Bernard. Since then, our community has grown to include more than two dozen ministries, spanning across thirteen states (and counting!). We have ministries serving their communities in various fields, including but not limited to: agriculture, education, holistic health, elder care, pre and post-partum services and general spiritual maintenance practices. Our intention at Fifth Element Free Church is to help people find God in their own way, and on their own timeline. We promote sacred sovereignty above all else.
